Yes I have. I think most indicators can be helpful in one point or another to help you determine price action direction. I have been trading for years now (3+) and one of the things i notice is price has its own nature. It is very hard to predict and most indicators lag. I like the Zig Zag strategy a lot and I've been trying it ever since I started this thread. It hasn't been easy and through trials and errors and do to a believe that this indicator works.. I have been able to stick with it. Now it starting to pay off and it has launch me to what I think is the second level of my trading career.

When I started trading with different methods.. my trading never got hire than 30% a month. I win some and then lost it again. Now I feel more confident and I am having better success.

I competed last month on myfxbook fxcm trading contest and I did 29th place finishing with about 80%.

After the contest was over I started another demo account and I am very close to doing 50% a little past half of the month is over.

So my advise is if you really believe in an indicator stick with it. It paid off for me.

Yeah. Two things you need to keep in mind.. Ranges and Trends. Because of these two things is really impossible to get the hi and low of movements plus if you add time frames to the mix of the equation it gets crazy. I try a lot of indicators even the Heiken-Ashi but now I just restrain myself to only using zig zag because is become more clearer for me to use. Remember rather than finding out which indicator gives the best entry or exit ask yourself what is a solution to a ranging market and what is a solution for a trending market. I believe this is key and zig zag can help you educate you about it.

only one question: will the zigzag indicator repaint the last line which is already drawn? if so, how to handle it?
and Williams, the trading records look like that your system is already changed? not in 4h timeframe? to 15m? and the enter/exit rules are still the same?
