MyFXBook reports gain % comparing to the initial deposit, not to balance
RobotFX posted: I need some help here. My numbers: April 01, Balance: $1.948,99 April 11, Balance: $2.191,15 To April 11 Profit : 2.191,15 - 1.948,99 = $242,16. So, % Gain return to April 11 = 242,16 / 1.948,99 = 0.124 -----> +12.4% MyFxBook numbers: April Profit: $183.60 To April 11 GAIN showed ----> +99.16% (+73.45% abs) What is going here?....  ...all month have the similar errors!Someone can explain how can MyFXbook calculate and show that HIGH % GAIN return erroneous numbers??? THKS |

Just bought FGB yesterday, no trade for today, seems like a side client problem. Maybe your broker, MT4 Version or connection speed.

THKS Hola Alejo, If you comment is true, I can´t understund why MyFxBook use the initial deposit to calculate the % gain return. In my humble opinion, that is not correct. Each month would use the initial and final balance for that month, not the initial deposit. April 01, Balance: $1.948,99 April 11, Balance: $2.191,15 Until April 11 Profit : 2.191,15 - 1.948,99 = $242,16. So, Monthly % Gain return until April 11 = 242,16 / 1.948,99 = 0.124 -----> +12.4%...NOT +73.45% as is stated on the MyfxBook monthly graphics. The same for the rest of months in the monthly graph.
