i have a question. I guess that your Alpari demo account is micro, because it's the only Alpari acount type that you can trade with less than 0,1 lot as minimum trade size. But at the same time this type of account has maximum open position limit of 2 std lots, which you have overpassed many times lately without any restrictions. Why that happens? There aren't any limits for demo accounts?

Alpari has different guidelines for demo account than for real accounts. There is no such thing as a demo micro or limits on lots in play. Demo account can trade right down to 0.01 or up to 50.0 lots (I think 50 lots is the largest single trade allowed.

In short, no limits on Alpari demo accounts which makes it even harder to achieve the same results on a live account. In the case of Hacked, you pretty much need at least 50K (using the 5K per micro formula) for a 'classic' account (minimum one mini start size). A micro is not viable because of the restriction on the total lots in play.

Hi Rick,

Since this(http://www.myfxbook.com/members/rsmereka/forex-hackedc/218967) is the copied of this (http://www.myfxbook.com/members/rsmereka/forex-hacked-alpari-uk/107706), may i know what is the main reason that makes March and April profit return different?

Is your Alpari account still using the setting as posted in pipcop post #1?

Thanks,
SIM

Hi SIM,

When you use a trade copier, you never get the exact return on the slave that the master gets (especially when the two accounts are with different brokers). In addition, since there are two different brokers involved, I am copying trades 'at market' which means that the slave is not attempting to enter and exit at the same price as the master. All of this (and much more) is discussed in my Pipcop thread at http://www.pipcop.com/forums/current-live-robot-reviews/411-forex-hacked.html including the reasons I am using a copier and why I am copying 'at market'.

Hi Rick,

Thank you very much for your reply as well as giving me the url to your further explanation.

May i know whether Jan trading activities also copied from this account to the GOMarkets account?

Regards,
SIM

Hi SIM,

Yes, the January trades are using the copier. The only non-copier trades are any trades that are not GBPUSD (I found at least one non-GBPUSD trade when I scanned the history). I would never ride Hacked bare-back (without using a copier).

Keep in mind that when I started with Hacked on the GoMarkets live/real money account, I was way over-leveraged running a start lot of 0.01 (one micro) with just over 2K in equity. I really took a chance that the account would not blow up. It was Feb 9 when I made a large deposit that I was running a normal starting lot size (according to the formula of one micro per 5K).

Hi Rick,

did you ever think about running FH on AUDNZD? I made some 99% backtests with tickdata and the differences to cable in DD were huge. AUDNZD had a much less DD.

I run this live on a cent account with lite forex as can be seen here http://www.myfxbook.com/members/Jayman007/sig-cent-martin/195905

I pull the profits nearly daily so as to always keep a consistent balance.

Are you compounding the account and then increasing your starting lot size as your account grows?

Hi Andre,

AUDNZD would not be a good candidate for Forex Hacked. It's daily range is too low an it trends a lot.

Hi Jayman007,

I am pulling out 50% of the profits at the end of each month. I call it the 50/50 plan. I also increase the starting lot size according to the 5K per micro formula that I use.
