Hi
I'm new to myfxbook, and experiencing difficulties adding a mt4 account to myfxbook
I've previously used mt4live.com and that's been straightforward to setup

Both setup run in tandem until i reach the FTP path: fileld. mt4live have me enter a forward slash (/) and myfxbook leave that field empty.

Next i come unstuck at FTP login:

with mt4 live i simply enter my registered mt4live.com username. However, myfxbook say: 'After adding a new MetaTrader 4 account, you'll see an ftp user number. This number will be your ftp login in your MetaTrader 4 platform.'

I called up my broker which is Alpari but they weren't able to help me and i do not see where i should see this number to enter into the 'FTP login:' field

I'd be obliged if someone can clarify where i've gone wrong and help me set this up, as I think that once i get over this hurdle i will prefer this service over mt4live.com

thank you

Hi livingdaylight,

Because our system allows you to set up multiple trading accounts under one username, the setup is a bit different.

Go to your settings area, after adding an account you'll see there under 'Ftp User' the number you're looking for.

It is all explained here: http://www.myfxbook.com/help#help_1

Cuda, as the error suggests, the login details are incorrect.

Make sure you use the settings as described here: http://www.myfxbook.com/help#help_1

Hello,
I am using windows 8 and I'm having trouble installing myfxbook on MT4. I have downloaded myfxbook EA installer v1.3 and run it as administrator. A dialogue box has popped up which says please select the installations which you wish to be installed with the Myfxbook EA. When I click 'add' a dialogue box pops up that says 'browse for folder' but when I open the folder which has my MT4 platform my MT4 isn't there! when I change the location still none of them have my MT4 platform!! Is there something that I'm not doing?
