I'm not fazed by the contest ranking. I think your putting out the best quality trades I've seen out there so far. You're good!

Appreciate the kind words.....actually would be up a good $30K-50K+ more had I just let recent trades hit their targets.
 This might sound cheeky but I really haven't put much effort into trading. Maybe glance at the charts for 5 minutes a day? Because it's monopoly money and the leverage is so high I'm not all that 'involved' per se. Probably luck more than anything.  NZD was obviously overbought and even their central bank agrees it is overvalued.....actually got burned a bit on my AUD trades as I sold immediately BEFORE the Interest Rate and price shot up  .....but oh well lol........and any good news for Euro is only temporary as the crisis isn't going away overnight......

Ahhh, 'Luck'. It has a habit of following people about AFTER they become really good at what they do... doesn't it? ;) .
BTW I've just been proved right about the better 'quality' of your trading compared to others I've looked at. The former number 1 ranked contestant just hit a 58% drawdown today. There are certain trading types I really pay no attention to regardless of their current ranking by account size. For YOUR own style however... You just keep 'lucking' into those 100 pip moves like you're doing, and you'll do real great. (Now, about that AU trade: Mine was an opposite calamity. I was sitting pretty on 130 pips of floating profit on a long I entered the day B4 interest rate. Somehow, I watched it all drop to 14 pips b4 jumping off... We learn everyday!) Good luck mate!

Another lesson in waiting until your trades hit profit targets
 Would've topped $400K by default.But anyway, I can't wait until I finish this project so I can go trade on my real account

good trading, and yea it wasn't a usd rally, the dovish fomc hurt me badly in GBP/USD, oh well. congrats on your rank!

Im really impressed with your trades. You seem to really know what you're doing, because your results appear like what would be realistic in a live account. Seriously, i'm impressed!

Thank you for the kind words. I have been in forex for quite awhile and do have an extremely simple yet obviously profitable technique. The key is to not watch your trades-- you have to trust your decision to take the trade and let the market do its thing. That's why you have a stop-loss and a take-profit. If you planned on watching every tick then why use them. Some of the best trades on my real accounts have occurred while I was sleeping!
Based on my calculations I'm pretty sure that I'm not going to win, but I never expected to rank where I am now.....so I'm not going to just quit either
