The day is up. 1 be, 1 loser and 1 winner. be was probably the most stupid and disappointing BE for quite some time. shorted oil at 106.75 at night but moved to be too quickly. got stopped and oil dropped like a stone.

 I have a great EA that needs testing and its doing great on oil 'XOM' stock. If you would like to back test and optimize this EA of mine, or any of my 4 Ea's let me know. The day is up. I am done. Nice, this one I caught nicely. shorted oil from 106.80. just closed. looks like it is heading lower though but there is trend line so, I closed.

 wow, this trade would have been 8:1 R:R so far. Happy that picked something though before leaving. I was thinking it was going to test yesterday's low but now it looks like new 2 week low and it is testing the gap. I hope it will leave me something to do for tomorrow as I am done for today. |

I want to point that XOM is not oil and moves very differently. I was watching it a year ago.
I never did any backtesting. Just have no idea how to code and how to back test at all or to optimize for that matter. Everything is based upon experience and a lot of screen time. The day was down. Lost previous 2 days winners.
I decided to stop trading for 3 months until I have full trading schedule. Then will resume again. Too much pressure and I hate leaving trades running while I am away and it happens almost every day. will be back. |

I am actually going to demo trade but no live trading till July 1 as I noticed high level of disappointment in me after being consistently stuck in trades before leaving. It is 2 1/2 hours a day is not good and I feel pretty messy because of this.
I need enough time to wait for set ups otherwise I feel i am taking bad trades too often and can start losing. This losing day was a warning bell for me, so I decided to preserve money and resume live trading when I have time which is in 3+ months. |
