missed 23 trades due to coding error.
according to the log files( it is logging all activites) today all togather seems good with total 26 trades. this is not going to make a fortune with daily ~25 trades but seems to be working. I had found a IB that offers DOM for forex. they are open source. so I can use their indicators for my use with small changes and adapt them to my script EA. it is monthly 79 usd. they have a week trial. next week I will try to use it stevewalker posted: when I as fixing the code I made mistake and did not take any trade till now. it is now working with the below rules. stevewalker posted: it will be redicilus if I think any EA will work with fix setup after all that coding and testing experience. so what I am going to do is EA will start run with the results of collected data. but it will open all trades with the rule below; lot 1/1 with the setup parameters lot 1/10 with the against setup parameters this will allow me to collect data and work on it. if EA work properly then I can code a algo for 'data work part'. stevewalker posted: momentum EA ( actually Acceleration EA ) currently I am looking the 20 tick acce. on the top of that when I look 20^2 ticks acce same direction it seems to be work. but this has to be tested for a long time. published account still trading with only first 20 tick acce and collecting data. actually it is not so funny. I used ot trade MT4 oil, ECN spread paying 1 pip for each transaction. Those guys were making more money than I was when i was making it :) now, they almost always delay execution on MT4 and open trade at worse price. MT4 in this regard simply cannot be compared to Oanda.
