In 2017 on the last run up Bitcoin had at least 11 crashes of 50% or more for the year.
Bitcoin will be volatile for years to come. I personally think one of the better strategies to trade it is to buy the crashes. Have orders in the market that starts at about -50% from the last high and TP out at last high + 50% or something like that.
You can do a lot worse than double your money 11 times in a year. It will likely work for the next decade or so. That said as it matures the volatility will drop over time and the crashes will become less and less severe.
Easy to code and run, but takes the patience of Noah to trade like that. Looking at a trade a month or even less.

What are peoples thoughts on whether BTC is correlated to anti-correlated to general market risk? If the economy tanks and stock prices fall, will people turn to BTC as a 'safe' alternative? Or will BTC also fall drastically because it is a 'risk' asset?

I think that bitcoin will stay on top anyway. He hit a low of $ 3,000. Is there at least one currency that is also worth against the dollar? Even if the world does not pay attention to bitcoin, it still remains in value.

I am thinking it will be way lower than it already is and it's just damn good no matter how you look at it. If you want to ask me when it will be 100,000 or something else you need to put that all aside anyway. Care to make it clear or not ?

I think that it will get much lower entirely and absolutely on all possible levels for many many things. We can't really predict bitcoin price now for all possible meaning here. And I do not really see it will grow much in COVID world here.

Why is the price always changing and why is it that high. BTC is just another business venture that I will never get into. Either way we need more info about this. Iam no expert. Let me know what the others have to say about it. BTC is only good to those that can handle it.
