Hello, FredJones I mostly recommend trading with ECN regulated brokers like my broker FP Markets. I prefer them because their spreads are lower, and it is also one of the oldest broker active since 2005 with regulation from ASIC & CYSEC.
Their customer service is quick in answering and solving clients queries, I have not faced any issues with it for the past 11 months even while withdrawing or during deposits.
If you are looking for the combination of decent trading conditions and low minimum deposit, you should checkout: Fxview - Minimum Deposit - $5, commissions - $2/100k RT and spreads from 0.1 pips onwards Tickmill - Minimum Deposit - $100, commissions - $4/100k RT and spreads from 0.1 pips onwards
I recommend trading with Skilling or FP Markets, both brokers are regulated by ASIC for FP Markets and FCA for Skilling, with a lower commission cost of $7 per round lot in Skilling and $6 in FP Markets, with no additional charge during withdrawals or deposits.
Of all the brokers recommended here, I agree with FP markets since their trading conditions are robust with faster execution speed of 1 ms when I use their VPS and the spreads in EURUSD are stable even when the market is volatile.
There are some good broker recommendations on this thread, and I agree with IG, XM, and FP Markets. These brokers are good, their trading conditions are some of the best and most reliable with proper regulation from govt bodies like ASIC or FCA.
