niceGLer posted: I've lost a bit less than $1k, it hurts but I think it is actually a reasonable amount. At first I lost in a rapid phase, then it slowed down. I started to win in 1M to 15M time frames. Then I tried to figure out how to trade in longer time frames, and began losing again. But the most rapid loss was with BTCUSD, since I thought it would be a nice idea to have something to do during weekends. Fortunately, I quit that stupidity, and started to win again. Now I'm only appr. 800 bucks in minus. This all took 4 years..
Less than 1K? That’s really bearable; so I am sure you have learned a lot from your own trading mistake.
I have lost like seeveral thousands in all time if I remember that all correctly. WE all have our learning curve here anyway. So losses are just there and unavoidable. Lot of people lost much bigger amounts than me, so I am totally fine with that. I am in green now anyway;)

Oh!!! I hope, now you are following the rules of money management properly!
I have lost several thousands for example and I am more than dissapointed in that all. See my point, we are all learning cause of that, and I do see them as usual anyway, all that my mistakes. How does that really matter anyway ? I do not see this coming until it happens.
we always advise to learn basic level for beginners level , but learning can be useless if there is no regular practice in demo or micro account , so besides learning it is more appropriate to emphasis on practice session
