What about the autotrade demo accounts? I notice mine hasn't been updated recently either. Since we don't have access to those accounts to put an ea on. Does that mean that's also canceled now?

No, it is not cancelled. We're working on a load issue which should be fixed within a few days. This has no impact on trade copying.

Ethan, they say you and others have hacked their API. Is that so?

I wouldn't say that 'hacked'.
Maybe reverse-engineered is a better word.
When MT4 was lauched security was not a concern at any level in their product line.

If you want to connect directly to any MT4 server you can do it just buying (or inventing your own) such reverse-engineered solution.
For us customers this is very convenient because we don't have to do anything and it just works!
Or worked until now 😡

If MetaQuotes would publish an official API to access MT4 servers legally we would not be in this situation at all.
And lets hope that they will publish API access for MT4 servers soon!

Will not you be so kind as to explain the difference between burglary and 'reverse engineering' of the transport protocol?
And you in this case are different from the 'carders' stealing money from other people's accounts?

Did you think of changing you Internet IP address of your server(s) ?
According to thinkforex investigations, MQ block some IP ranges, so if you can change your IP address you may workaround this glitch.

I do not know did MyfxBook hacked MT4 protocol but for me it is absolutely clear what Metaquotes do. They sleep for years, rarely listen to their own clients and now decided to get more and different market share - or at least try.
Ofcourse it is done by typical way they work: arrogantly and peremptorily. But that is the way one (monopolist) could success but may not as well. The future will show.
Do not be surprised when they (MetaQuotes) start a monitoring service :) Everyone's hopes are that it will be for better but I definitely do not like the method of achieving it.

P.S. If MyFxBook just connects to an account, download the history, exporting it via the MT4 client, I do not see any hacking, back engineering etc.

Yes, it can be done also that way. And there's one product for that I know: mt4 java api jfx. And its reasonably priced!
But that doesn't prevent MetaQuotes from blocking you if you open 100's of connections simultaneously to a single broker in rapid succession to poll all accounts there.
It just depends what kind of algorithm they use for the blocking. And have they changed the protocol slightly to detect genuine clients from hacked clients.

And remember that Myfxbook is not the only service that has run into these connection problems lately.
Its all about money, like trading 😁

That was exactly my point... If they use that method, there is nothing hacked.
Yes, they are not the only service... Perhaps VPS providers are hackers too 😇
For example, I personally know a man, who was blocked being just a trader... in the middle of the week, he could not access few accounts - could you imagine that! And that is just one example, but there are plenty

So can somebody enlighten me as to what is actually going on please? Is it that Metaquotes are blocking access to MT4 histories?

As far as I know, the blocking of the access of multiple accounts from the same IP was mainly against Zulutrade and other signal providers. Why did they block the investor access, I have no idea. Maybe it generated to much traffic?

The 'investor password' is blocked ? That's why my accounts can't be verified anymore ! Is there one solution ?

My Zulutrade accounts are not affected, so I am not sure that this is the reason.
