Even trading Forex is risky as well! So, which trading style you are using? Long term only?
I do daily for analysis, 4 hr for entries

Scalping is not riskier than other trading styles, it is just more time consuming and need more attention and proper discipline to implement.

I think it is more risky because you cannot do an appropiate and complete analysis about the market, besides you have to cover more comissions in your account and fight with the spread and volatility more than other types of investment.

if more people start make scalping - it will kill trend strategies ... price become more hunting stoplosses (for people who use stoplosses will be no profit) .
scalping only good if you have 100% quality entry because scalping means mm big lots with short SL . Scalping also can kill your acc if quality of your entry for some reason go down (market can stay in flat or can show nonretrace moove but your system or ind tell you trade opposite direction)

i find scalping very risky. one of my friend is a scalper, so i got excited and decided to try myself, well the results weren't as good as i thought they would be, so left scalping for good. but nonetheless, everyone has their own way of trading and some traders do find scalping profitable.

scalping has a huge transaction cost, reducing the winning results in the long run.

thanks will take a look
Scalping has huge transaction costs indeed. That's true. This make totally necessary to trade with the lowest possible cost broker, sometimes even cheaper than that. It is however the only trading strategy which if applied properly can produce up to 95% win rate, which can be good for people who want immediate gratification of trading. No other trading style can give you result in a matter of seconds or few minutes. Other important thing, scalping doesn't affect trend following strategies. It doesn't have any overnight exposure it can affect only small scale intra-day fluctuations and that's it. Most scalpers don't keep trades open for longer than an hour. If the trade is not working properly they kill it.

If you are using major currency pair and a good Forex broker; then the trading spread will be bearable!
