Well, simply put, yeah. It is risky. Because of the extensive use of leverage your risk is higher than ever. To avoid losing all your capital - try to work smart. I'm talking about having a strategy. But having a strategy is not enough. You have to know how to execute.
Also, you HAVE to have a stop loss. Without stop loss you can lose everything in a blink of an eye.
Try to enter market on time. Exit before something bad happens. Scalping sounds fun and easy in theory. But it's not.
Good luck though :)

it is risky because you have to make faster thinking and better emotion control

other than that every timeframe should be traded the same way

(oh and yeah be ware of spikes during scalping)

everything is possible, put the effort and do it, dont let anyone discourage you

Scalping in the forex market is too risky in the forex market because the more the forex market trader place trade in the forex market the more they expose their account to risk in the forex market

Scalping, in my opinion, is more beneficial for day traders as it involves buying or selling a currency pair and then hold it for a short period of time. Day traders get a good amount of scalping, regular traders must go on with simple strategies to get most out of a trade.

How do you deal with brokers though? Don't they prevent scaling?

If you do not know what you are doing, sure, scalping is risky. But isn't all trading scalping? Think about it. Staying in the market hoping for it to give you all there is, is just plain simple madness. With the right strategy, you can scalp on any time frame for a day, week, or even months. The secret is in knowing when the market is going to take a break on that time frame, or even reverse.

i prefer to scalp on a daily, in and out within a few hours. anything less than that should be left to the robots, and those who want to cause themselves health issues.

Here is an example of some of the scalp trades I take. Knowing within a few (usually less 10) pips where the market turning point is. Does it work all the time, no. Does it work most of the time, YES!
