Why no shorting?
Following are reason shorting is not profitable in stock market-
1.Stock market is different from forex market .stock market become volatile during correction of market and short trading end up to break even or little profit during volatile market.
2.Stock market has long bias. Over 90 years, the S&P 500 went up 66 years and went down 24 years.
3.I also back tested my EA for both long & short position on many stock & stock index shorting not show much profitable results.
I take both Long and Short positions ,all depends on the price of the Stock,there is a Long bias generally as you quite rightly say.

It is losing account he just deposit money and claiming $10 to $5000 gain.Total gain=$191.67 current drawdown $4814.99 - $5045.12= -$230.13.
The market will trade through it’s path of least resistance .
