In my opinion, Pepperstone, CMC, or FP Markets are good since they are regulated by ASIC and CYSEC. They are also some of the oldest brokers, especially FP Markets, which have been active for over 20 years.

Can agree with you on IC Markets. One of better brokers to trade, along with fxview and pepperstone.
I started live trading a year back with Coinexx, and it's going well so far. The trading conditions are good and the customer support is really helpful which I guess is very important for every new trader.
For beginners or newbies, I suggest trading with brokers that have a lower opening balance or with micro lot accounts for lower risks and loss value.
I recommend brokers like XM or FP Markets, because they are reliable to trade with and provide some of the best trading conditions. I trade with FP markets because their minimum opening balance is only $6 per round per lot.
Newbies should trade with regulated brokers, and it would be an advantage if their broker is also an older broker.
ICM and FP Markets are regulated by ASIC and also older brokers with over 10 years of experience in forex. ICM has an opening balance of $200 AUD and FP Markets has a lower opening balance of $100 AUD.
For newbies entering into forex for the first time, I suggest brokers such as Avatrade or FP Markets, since their demo accounts provide educational materials such as e-books and video tutorials, and FP Markets' customer service is quick in answering any kind of forex related queries.
i quite doubt whether is a best broker for newbies, or they are best for all traders. best broker for newbies is a broker, which offers quite fascinating and complex educational content. it's a mandatory thing for you as for a rookie, because you should day'n'night explore new stuff for your development as a beginning trader. You know, the most suitable thing for you is to have a broker which would always answer your questions and have a clear interface on the websute and on the platform. It will help you to save the time spent on searching for particular instruments or tools. At least, I would recommend to find such brokers.
