@Rihan : As your last response seemed directed at me, I guess I should do the courteous thing and respond. But I will not sink to your standards and simply attack you as a person - that is not why I am here, nor why you should be here either (so why are you here then?).

I will just say: this speaks volumes about your character. I'll let my success be the judge of me. 😎

I'll leave you with some quotes in case you need motivation to get started Rihan. Hope you succeed some day!

> Men succeed when they realize that their failures are the preparation for their victories. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

> The test is to recognize the mistake, admit it and correct it. To have tried to do something and failed is vastly better than to have tried to do nothing and succeeded. - Dr. Dale Turner

> Failure should be our teacher, not our undertaker. Failure is delay, not defeat. It is a temporary detour, not a dead end. Failure is something we can avoid only by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing. - Dr. Denis Waitley

Of course it was directed at you - do I need to remind you that you called this thread a lame joke - and thought I was simply trying to discourage others because I supposedly failed?

By having a more reserved approach now and letting others be the judge of my character says a lot about your character. But I agree, let others be the judge.
I quickly googled a quote which I am going to end off with.

“When things go wrong, don't go with them.”
― Elvis Presley

That this thread is a lame joke is exactly what you said and how you have treated this. I considered this to be a serious topic, and you can see that from the posts I have made.

'When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself.' - Wayne Dyer

I guess then there is nothing more that I should say. This is your thread, and you are welcome to direct it as you wish. I simply thought my contribution would be beneficial to all. Thank you all for reading my posts and I hope you all enjoy many green pips!

I wanted you to contribute and share your views - unfortunately you just crossed a line when you made accusations about my intent of this thread - and I just pointed out to readers that they should 'take it from whence it comes'.

I agree with you that there are too many things out there that have false claims of promising riches, and that newcomers should first do a bit of research at for example fx peace army, before doling out cash.

I appreciate your inputs and wish you much success and hope you achieve your goals.

There is one reason why is impossible to make 1M out of 1$, let alone 10M. And it's called:

Fat tail distribution (meaning market is random but extreme events will happen too often)

Of couse traders have their judgment clouded by fast profits and have no interest and talent on math or science. I don't think that Rihan is ofending BluePanther or this is a lame joke. It's a good thread and newcomers should be aware of the risks. We are not saying not to trade, but not to take huge risks.

Mr. BluePanther gave a great fortune to the markets, chasing that dream. He is an honest guy and does not hide his history. Unfortunatetly he is a victim of those scams that promoses great fortunes and yet he is still convinced he will make it doing same mistakes. As I said many times. I don't understand where he get his will power. We are not hurting his beliefes, the market is doing that.

Of course I wish everyone to be winners, but taking hige risks is not the way to go. I did once, I will never do it again. I'm not special, and the market will not spare me.

I find others' assumptions about me amusing. Let me say this:

Right now I do not feel 'sympathy pains' for myself. I do not consider myself 'the victim', despite my scam experiences (unrelated to forex I might add). I made some poor choices, but they have only served to harden my resolve to succeed. I am unashamedly stubborn and arrogant (and proud of it! 😉) and the more I am discouraged or fail, the harder I try. 'Where there is a will there is a way'.

Later, I am sure people will also make assumptions about my financial success and attribute that to my hard work at three jobs.😁

Humans are so limited in their thinking and thus reality.😎

And perhaps only my ego is offended when folks like Rihan make lame joke threads like this, in a futile attempt to justify their erroneous perception of reality by garnering support from other short-sighted nubs. Of course, I will have the last laugh by savouring my success in the face of all my critics. 😎

No offence intended, I am simply telling the situation how I see it. 😀

Nubs, feel free to join in the 'slag-fest'. I will sooner prove you wrong. 😎

I seriously don't know why I am bothering to reply.Your persistence reminds me of a lab rat who has an electric surge every time it goes for the food bowl, but it does it again and again. Anyway, here it goes..
Yes yes, you are absolutely right. Falling prey to scammers does not make you a victim, they were just poor choices (fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice - shame on me) and you are absolutely right again, I started this lame joke of a thread to justify my 'erroneous perception of reality, hoping to garner support from other disbelievers', not to instill more realistic dreams onto newcomers.

No offence taken - none meant. You keep on mentioning that your success will prove something. I really hope this is the case, and we won't see another blown account under your name.

Merry Christmas to all the readers out there!

Seems like no one made it 1$ to 10,000,000$ this year. 2014 is coming, let's hope someone will make it next year.

Cheers to all.

I saw the website for Pip Spring and its slogan is 'Massive Forex Profits'. When I read this it reminded me of this thread, and I see how it supports Rihan's topic. Too many scam marketers out there that use the possibility of big gains to sell their own 'shit', which turns out to be no better than other 'shit'.

There is truly a killing to be made, but the marketers have no clue how to achieve this. They either: 1. knowingly deceive new traders into buying their crap, or 2. truly are deluded in thinking that their crap is 'serious money' stuff @5% per month or something really meagre.

Either way it is really sad, for the marketers and their delusions, or the buyers and their lost dreams. 😞

BTW: I am not saying Pip Spring or any other system is a scam and won't work. It may work, but it won't make 'Massive Forex Profits' like is truly possible. Marketers' ideas of massive profits is only 5-10% per month - such a paltry return is a joke in forex. If I wanted that sort of return I could do a business or real estate investments with much less risk.
