As far as i learnt, TrendHybrid works differently from i thought.. It seems to open only one trade against an unexpected reversal

I'm not so sure about that. On mine, it kept opening trades roughly every 20 pips until it hit its max 12 trades and stacked up 1.87 lots of exposure, which is strange because I have the set file loaded that was posted earlier with 5/5 max.
The trades did eventually close for 12% a couple hours after the last one opened at 0.46 lots, but I can only imagine the drawdown that could be created in a short period of time if the trend continued to go against the EA.

Equitytrail is for this purpose.. If the trend returns, and your gain is at least 2% the EA closes the corresponding trades with profit..Did you turn it on?

Been keeping a close eye on it since Tuesday morning's sudden volatility. It started acting like default strategy, buying on the sudden drops, and selling with the quick rallies.
At one point, it even hedged a pair at the same open price. Of course, this is no surprise as it is still in beta. I have since altered the settings since I presume it was trading with the default settings, despite the assurances that it isn't a bug.

I still don't understand how Steve is able to use the set file that's supposedly being used for this version, for as far as I've seen, it's completely ignored every single value in the set file and resorted to default settings. I've bumped the values one point either up or down, depending on how I see most important, and came up with:

RealTakeProfit=0
RealStopLoss=0
PipStepMultiplier=1.0
PipStep=22
VirtualTrades=5
VirtualTakeProfit=35
LotMultiplier=1.6
MaxBuyTrades=6
MaxSellTrades=6

I have TrendHybrid disabled, as it has blown my first test account in just over a week, with it both opening trades at the same point multiple times as @Pablo51 mentioned. Also it started trading on pairs as though I had the same pair open twice and opening duplicate positions at the exact same time and entry point.

So far, everything looks alright. If it gets three trades deep, that's usually when the EquityTrail kicks in so it's not too much of a strain if there's a reversal. However, the main question I have now is, do I need to alter the Risk/EquityTrail as the balance gets bigger to keep that equilibrium? Or will the internal risk manage it? Two trades deep is comfortable, but as has been exemplified on the two running official accounts so far, as balance grows, it moves farther away from how much 2% of the balance is to trigger the EquityTrail.

My two cents. Hope it helps!

The lot size grows accordingly with the balance.. no need to worry about that....

As for the TrendHybrid, i feel the same, its turned off because i use 0,5 risk and planning to make it 0,6.. I need to test more...

The latest version 3.36 seems to be stabilized for now.. We will see soon if any other problem occurs.

By the way i am testing only Trendsurfer strategy...

Since May 3, I'm using the Version 3.26 in real with good profit,
The 3:35 version has halved my demo account in 4 days
No one uses or has used the scalper strategy?

Have you been keeping an eye on the trades being opened?

With the introduction of 3.3, it has also introduced a couple bugs that go beyond the preset strategies and rules (or your own in some cases). I've not seen any changes so far in regards to the scalper strategy, so perhaps it's falling short as a result of these unforeseen bugs.

Wish I could give more advice, but with my experience thus far I've only tested V2Default on a live account.

Hi all, be sure to set your risk levels (drawdown settings, lot size, stop losses to what you are comfortable with). Steve's overall trading strategy incorporates the fact that he has many live accounts, so he accepts that one or two may bust, in return for high gains on the remaining accounts.

Unless you have multiple accounts trading as he does, you will need more conservative settings. I've been doing good with my settings and happy with a 1% average daily return.

Hi Glenn,

May I know what strategy and settings you are using to get the above returns?

Why do not we create a group on FB, all users of Flex Ea, to share strategies and experiences?

Because this EA is nothing more than crap.
I have it myself, i know what i am talking about 😉

Look to this account, the DD is already over 58%. the owner should close all positions and remove this sh**y robot.
Else his account will blow up very soon.

Flex --> Garbage can

The differenece between who your are and who you would like to be be is what you do
