Anyone else having problems with latest version? i am having everyday new problem.. i am texting to Steve and he finds and fix the problem.. But today again..
Been keeping a close eye on it since Tuesday morning's sudden volatility. It started acting like default strategy, buying on the sudden drops, and selling with the quick rallies.
At one point, it even hedged a pair at the same open price. Of course, this is no surprise as it is still in beta. I have since altered the settings since I presume it was trading with the default settings, despite the assurances that it isn't a bug.
I still don't understand how Steve is able to use the set file that's supposedly being used for this version, for as far as I've seen, it's completely ignored every single value in the set file and resorted to default settings. I've bumped the values one point either up or down, depending on how I see most important, and came up with:
I have TrendHybrid disabled, as it has blown my first test account in just over a week, with it both opening trades at the same point multiple times as @Pablo51
mentioned. Also it started trading on pairs as though I had the same pair open twice and opening duplicate positions at the exact same time and entry point.
So far, everything looks alright. If it gets three trades deep, that's usually when the EquityTrail kicks in so it's not too much of a strain if there's a reversal. However, the main question I have now is, do I need to alter the Risk/EquityTrail as the balance gets bigger to keep that equilibrium? Or will the internal risk manage it? Two trades deep is comfortable, but as has been exemplified on the two running official accounts so far, as balance grows, it moves farther away from how much 2% of the balance is to trigger the EquityTrail.
My two cents. Hope it helps!
