as MT4 is recording all activities also brokers has all activities logs for server. when you have a issue you can ask from broker for the server logs for your trades. normally they should supply that information for the clients. when starting with a broker secure that you can get that info when you ask for. they usually say that they dont keep logs but THEY DO!!

I've recently experienced that the Log file within the MT4 platform can be rewritten by the broker. As a result, when you have an issue, there is no actual evidence to defend your case against the broker. Metatrader is designed for cheating retail clients and it always has been. Here is my personal experience with the log files being rewritten - https://www.pipinvestment.com/Menu/1209
Basically to sum it up. My data feed was moved from 5th decimal to 4th decimal over night, and my logfiles were completely rewritten to display 4th decimal pricing.

I remember a similar scenario about 2 years ago where the broker said to reference back to Logfiles and see if I was disconnected or to track down the problems,.... Of course , nothing was to be found, No disconnects reported.

'What this means for me personally?

My Demo accounts that were Trading BlueBull are useless because of the 4th decimal Pricing from this point on
I now have proof that the Metatrader brokers have full control over rewriting logs and can hide any technical issue that would normally appear within the log file
We need to develop a Second Log File backup outside of MT4 that can not be manipulated '

I agree!!

I have never had any problems with my broker. My MDP continues to make reasonable profits. I believe you guys focus on the wrong things. Always looking at small details instead of the big picture. It seems like you mostly believe that all brokers are involved in some kind of conspiracy to take your money. In the US the brokers are highly regulated and would incur hugh fines if they did any of the things you guys keep claiming in these posts. If you think brokers are dishonest then close your accounts and get out of Forex.

Everyone here should join www.forexpeacearmy.com. There you can read reviews about brokers, get trading advice and signals and a whole lot more. You can even read reviews about ea's such as mdp.

It has been to me one of the most valuable sites for forex. There is a lot of info on scam brokers there.
