Black Monday, China stock markets dropped 8+ % and when US session went online this account was hit the hardest ( Equity Protection at 33% + 4% Slippage). The automated trading systems need to be smarter and use a wider range of instruments to determine how the markets are moving.

I am manually trading to recover the losses. Once all losses are recovered the EA will take over.

Today +7.49%

Taking a loss is part of trading. Losing money is easy to do while recovering it is twice as hard. Since this account is overall in the profit territory I am willing to allow the ATS to take over. I'll focus my energy on another account that still needs attention. What an unbelievable week and I thought the bankers were on Holiday until September.

@rob559 I couldn't categorizes this ATS with only one word. It does enter more than 1 position and it does position build into profitable baskets but its much more complex, safer, and more profitable than any grid that I've used. We've been the top performer in September, October, November and December totaling a

1000% ROI in less than 1 year on the ConnectForex signal network.

This system is also available on the SignalStart signal network.

Check my profile for more information.

Hey Frank,

Your connectforex description suggests a minimum investment of 1000$ in order to start copying your trades. Hope that is still valid as I am seeing 0.01 lot size trades for 2000$ balance.

For all of 2015 I was using 0.01 std lotsize for $1000USD/EURO account balances.

2016 will be 50% reduced risk, therefore $2000 for 0.01 lot is recommended. I also have 2x Risk available now. I will also update the descriptions , Thank you for your question.

Hi Frank,

As you mention that it is '50% reduced' risk. Copying your signals with 1000$ would represent the same amount of risk pre-2016 yes? So do you deem that it is somewhat safe to trade with 1000$ too?

This is related to mirroring your trades on cTrader...

Is it my luck, I mirrored your system on a demo account and I saw results. The minute I went to real money, not one trade paid, not one! Perhaps you could give me a barebones recommendation on how to mirror your system without having my account margin busted.

My MT4 system here will be the master account for the cMirror account going forward. It is low risk and we can't expect the performance that you've previously seen. The December performance on the cMirror was extreme risk with 400% gain in the first 30 days. That won't happen again. You can follow on your ctrader account here - https://cmirror.com/strategy/57556

Hi Frank,
I can't seem to get it to come up on cMirror. Also why are you apparently modifying it to a lower returning system?

@aeronthomas Equity protection at 16% ( 32% on 2x).
@terrrafx 1000% annual gain with 62%DD is equivalent to 100% annual gain with 6%DD by simply adjusting Risk.
@ckdorgay - I have setup 3 cMirror accounts for $200+ balance size: https://redrhinofx.com/ctrader-signal/ and these accounts started trading this week (no trading history). I also see that cMirror doesn't display the statistics correctly today, so I hope to see the data update after a week of trading.

Please avoid the $4000 balance cMirror account for the time being. cAlgo platform has severe data issues with fetching the correct MarketSeries DataSeries from multiframe. This means all Price Action logic does not work correctly on all cBots. I have no way to run the algo's correctly without the correct data series ( debugging, testing for over 2 days....).

DD 62% big risk

Yes it is a huge risk, and all it means is that the person doesn't have good money management rules! When his position goes into red, instead of closing it, he continues to add into which puts him deeper in red. Being that this system isn't entering into big lots sizes, a 62% drawdown is unacceptable and it what he risk has nothing to do with his profit!
My avatar explains "social trading" perfectly.

Sorry but that is untrue. I trade for a living and the risk was acceptable for the profit achieved. Risk can always be turned up or down to fit the individual goal. Since I don't risk all my funds in one trading account I can tailor each trading system with a certain level of risk to achieve my end goal. The main purpose of this is to diversify and spread the portfolio risk across several systems, several accounts at different risk levels and several systems at different risk levels on 1 account.

I am not a manual trader living from one trading account like some professionals. I do it differently with more focus on portfolio management and risk calculations.

@goyankees85 Also Risk has everything to do with the amount of profit one achieves, you'll realize this hopefully sooner than later. Best luck with your trading.
