Hello, FredJones I mostly recommend trading with ECN regulated brokers like my broker FP Markets. I prefer them because their spreads are lower, and it is also one of the oldest broker active since 2005 with regulation from ASIC & CYSEC.

I have traded with several brokers and, from my experience, I prefer trading with ECN brokers such as CMC Markets and FP Markets since they are regulated by ASIC or CYSEC.

Of all the brokers recommended here, I agree with FP markets since their trading conditions are robust with faster execution speed of 1 ms when I use their VPS and the spreads in EURUSD are stable even when the market is volatile.

There are some good broker recommendations on this thread, and I agree with IG, XM, and FP Markets. These brokers are good, their trading conditions are some of the best and most reliable with proper regulation from govt bodies like ASIC or FCA.
I’d recommend aaafx, xtb, and fxcm, all regulated brokers that provide good conditions to trade, offer fast processing of withdrawals and have good customer service.

I see some really good recommendations in the comments here. Personally I've stuck with an MT4 broker so don't have a lot of experience with MT5.
