Just following up with this thread... I see a lot of account links referenced a few months ago have been deleted. We don't deny EA's can make money , but the odds are far against you. The only automated things we have seen work in real life and make REAL money are at the institutional level where quants run algos to pick off flow from credit clients trading on aggregated liquidity. These same quants also work at retail brokers where they run stats and probability scenarios on profitable accounts for them to direct the flow right to their pocket before flushing it to their ,so called, 'ECN' . This is what you are trading against when you are trying to automate in mt4.

We trade 100% manual and always have. We are still trucking even with many pits this year.

Check my portfolio .

Are the odds with me or not ?. The most people running ea's will fail because they dont have experience or they work with bad ea's like 99% commercial ea's in the market. If there's somehing that automatic trading is much better than manual , that are the odss my friend.

I don't agree that because it's automatic, it's better. These are the words of someone who cannot manually trade and fear it. If you were put you in a room with pencil , paper, quote board and a phone, you cannot pull money from the market. You need to optimize and enhance your program as the market changes in order to survive. This is a different talent than manual trading but it can take the same amount of work in the end. In the end, it only matters if you make money. So if EA's are working for you, then that's what you stick with.

Your performance Looks good . Your live account is only 12 months not 7 years as your image shows. This looks more like a back test. I think in the long term , with your average losses being twice as big as your average gains it could turn problematic . That being said, statistically the odds actually are against you but it's been performing well the past year so cheers to that.

Our main trading , https://www.myfxbook.com/members/EvolutionForex/evolution-mam/1273122 , we have more losing trades than winning trades but our winners are always bigger than our losers. This is our edge and how we put the odds in our favor in the long run

direct the flow into their pocket.

1.)
If I understand this correctly, the brokerage will follow the signals from the profitable trader/system and piggyback the entries, but actually submit the brokerage trades into the ecn to consume the liquidity and give the unused liquidity to the trader so the trader gets the worst possible market execution?
2.)
Or do you simply mean to trade against the trader?
