I am new to trading. About to initiate scalping. Is there a thing called quick scalping?
What do you recommend?

Hi there. You wont be able to generate huge profits with that... less time frames high leverage is what you will need in order to trade.

I am open to using leverage

Its all about being in and out of the markets in minutes. Scalpers dont hold trades for a long time unless theyre heavily in profit and have trailing stops

How would trailing stops make a difference here? Are they better to use than fixed stops?

trailing stop loss allows you to kind of book your profit. But for this to happen, first the price needs to earn the pips defined for the trailing stop loss, once it triggered your position will never close at loss. However, if the trailing stop loss level didn't hit at all, and the price moves against your trade your position will remain open and keep on adding the losses until you close it yourself. So that best way is, you can place trailing stop loss and stop loss both.

Using both I think would require a certain kind of skill and expertise, don’t you think?

Harry! All cars can take you from A to B, but some might be able to do so in 3 minutes while some under a minute. You know what I mean, there ARE differences. Some broker platforms will give you technical glitches, hard time in order execution, hide stuff, there are so many things.

That’s why I said “in the same league” I found no noticeable changes in cmc markets, fxview or etoro.

Also let’s not forget some will just end up scamming you straight.

@Mike I never use brokers that are not regulated by many financial authorities for that very reason.

What are the indicators that you are using for entry / exit? I would like to know more about your strategy if you don’t mind sharing, thanks.

They are basically stop loss to avoid the losses in case the trading is not going the way you want it to be.

Thats a good scalping strategy..... Short profits just get eaten up by spreads when you are scalping

The more your practice, the more you learn.

Stoploss and exiting market when needed, parabolic sars, mcd and rsi. Those indicators allow me to identify trends. And don't forget to use broker this is not bucket shop, i have a client her broker have refused her to withdraw because $3700 initial deposit was turned to $63,000 in 7 weeks, we are battling that now, i checked out and saw they are bucketshop broker, and im very mad.
They are saying she could only take her initital and halfbof the profits. Please always check broker before you open with them.

You are absolutely right. With the increase in price, trailing stops also get dragged with it. But when the price stops at one point, the new stop loss price remains at the price it was dragged to. This automatically protects the downside and locks in the profits as the price reaches new highs.
