I am a successful trader well after 4 years of mental work on me.
I believe that every one it is different and that there is no training for not one or strategy for no one, that you have to building your own strategy base on your own phycology, that is why many trades do not make money because they do follow others traders ideas.
I do have a big problem I can not building my own training material because is not possible ,because each one of you is different ... 46 traders that I have teach 45 they are successful traders and one after 3 years I do still working on.
I can help to teach others to be a successful traders but I have many interview and I do take only 1 of 50 because many of you ... they are not ready for one intensive year of training...

I'm not that good at trading yet but I think finding a multi millionaire mentor may be limiting and hard to find. In my experience, mentor's and mentee have mutually beneficial relationship. So unless you're bringing something to the table for the mentor, it may be hard to get one willing to mentor you. Having said that, when I look around the world, I often see mentor (coaches, teachers, tutors, etc...) help the people they train achieve excellence without they themselves ever achieving that level in their life. Being successful, doesn't equate being able to pass on that knowledge. There is an art in teaching others. (I've been a high school teacher for 8 years now).

From the sound of things, since you once traded full time, I too think that your issue isn't in your skill, but your psychology/emotions. You probably just need someone to make you aware of your blind spot.

I could not agree more with this comment. I am a successful full time trader and I have tried to show my method to various people. I thought it would be as easy as saying do xyz and people would do that. The reality is far from that, people I try to mentor will do just about anything but what I tell them, they will fight me every step of the way. Teaching is very much a skill. In most cases it comes down to the emotional state of the person. What holds most people back in trading is psychological, not what trading method you use. I always say that any trading method is only as good as the person using it. If someone does not understand basic price action to begin with, then no amount of indicators or hand holding will help them. This is what I find most commonly. People who are having trouble trading consistently, just do not understand the basic principals of price action. In most cases their reactions are driven by emotion. Mentoring traders is very difficult.
