Hi Joe. Sorry, I did not see your question here 'til now.

The EA is called Forex Cure. The internal name is FX Cure
and the current version is 0.97, so it's in Beta testing now.

I charge only $32USD to help cover some of the cost of
development, hoping everyone will post their MT4 terminal
results here on MyFXBook.com

If you agree to this, I'll email you a copy and manual.

Send payment through PayPal to the email address '[email protected]'

A new version is coming out, v0.98, that is supposed to fix some
baskets closing with a negative total. However, v0.97 is proving
to be pretty robust so far - as you've seen - even on all 28 main/minor
currency pairs.

Thanks for your interest.

Hi Drew,

Some questions about the internal 600 points liquidation setting.

1. is this 600 points from the x1 entries or entry from my chosen multiplier. For example, if I am entering trades from x3, is it 600 points from my first position.

2. Is the liquidation of just the pair(s) that have moved against by that much or all open positions.

3. Finally, could this be added as an extern parameter, such that 0 will mean this option is disabled and any other number, 600 for example, is the number of points to liquidate?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Hi Pere.

Q1. No, it is -600pips forced close, from entry of ANY order.

Q2. No, it is JUST the one pair's orders that have exceeded -600pips

Q3: I think you're saying you want the 600 forced StopLoss to be an External Variable.
I'm sure that's possible in a future version. It would add to the cost.

Consider, perhaps, a variable where ALL orders can be closed when a certain DrawDown
percentage exceeded. And there are many such EA's available now, for free.

Have a great weekend!

Hi Drew.

I have a question.

I have started a CENT account (as you know, the min lot allowed is 0.10) with $16500.

The settings is: Multiplier=1, Risk=2, EquityDivisor=4000000, TP=30.

So according with my calculations, the lots should be increased starting from the equity $22000, as the formula of the manual (LotSize = Account Equity x (10.0 x iRiskLevel) / EquityDivisor) to:

$ 22000 = 1x = 0.11, 3x = 0.33, 6x = 0.66, 9x = 0.99 ...
$ 24000 = 1x = 0.12, 3x = 0.36, 6x = 0.72, 9x = 1.08 ...
$ 26000 = 1x = 0.13, 3x = 0.39, 6x = 0.78, 9x = 1.17 ...
$ 28000 = 1x = 0.14, 3x = 0.42, 6x = 0.84, 9x = 1.26 ...

But my account is already with equity of $ 32,500 and the orders continue with same lots sizes - 1x = 0.10, 3x = 0.30, 6x = 0.60, 9x = 0.90...

I am doing something wrong? What you think?

Guilherme

Hi Guilherme.

Well, first of all, congratulations on your account more than doubling!

I bet this is the first EA you've run to do this.

Regarding the lot sizes, they will not re-adjust until you restart the EA.

I'll bet you have not closed and restarted the MT4 terminal in quite a while.

Hey Guilherme,

Congrats !!! I believe you're the first live doubled account amongst us !

I have only been doing demos so far and my fear is that Live is different than account in the way brokers feed ticks on the chart (= market doesn't move the same way).

Do you mind putting a link to a myfxbook analytics for that account ?
If not, can you tell us Broker, start date, pair chosen ?

Thanks Guilherme,

Dave

Hi Everyone,

Below from Drew.

Greg

Hi Drew,

How is the test coming? When do you plan on releasing it to the rest of the team?

Greg

Hi Greg. Two more weeks of testing - it will come out to you folks on August 2.

Apparently the 600pips stoploss feature was removed this version - not that it
matters when you have TONs of Equity, because eventaully all orders close!

I am working with Andri on the release v1.0 which will have a user-adjustable
StopLoss varaible, including NO S/L.

-Drew
PS: Greg, would you be so kind as to upload your question and my answer to
the main Forum page?roll

Not having any sort of stoploss is suicide. Think back to the Swiss bank intervention

Or the suicidal kamikaze Japanese bank in November 2011 - wiped me out!
-all pairs with JPY in them went +2000pips pretty much unchecked over
some week as their central bank massively devalued the Yen.

Drew,

Since I paid in the past, can I get the current version? I forgot about this, and was reminded when I just added two accounts to MyFXBook.

Hi Drew and everyone.

Drew, I'm following your v0.98 demo accounts and worries me to see that EA still opening orders with almost the same time/price, but with different lots sizes.

I'm running a live Cent account (V097, Gain: 187.32% - Max DD: 50.13%) from 16/abril without having closed the MT4 at any time, and this problem did not occur.

The only basket that closed negative (because swap costs) so far is the EURNZD, why stayed open during 42d from the first order (the maximum multiplier until today, 21x). Unfortunately (or fortunately 😄) I could not test the 600pips stoploss in EURNZD for about 10 pips.

I think we have to test two identical demo accounts of the 098 version. One with closing/reopening the MT4 and another without closing. If you want I can do it and put the results here.

Hi Everyone.

There's adelay in the release of V1.0 - it will be v0.99 AFTER another 2 to 3 weeks.

We have discoverd that the EA sometimes launches 2 trades on some pairs that
are only a minute or just several minutes apart, almost at the same price.

So, some more observations have to be made and then modifications have to
be made in the EA. Andri wants me to set some Internal values to hasten the result.

So, bear with me and we'll get this resolved soon...

Sorry Greg. Not quite there yet. I think I need a better programmer.

He's having some difficulty finding what goes wrong when the MT4
terminal is opened/closed. Obviously, the virtual orders get messed
and muliple orders get opened sometimes in the same minute!

Note there is no error with multiplier 0 and when the terminal is never
re-started - for the last 2 versions.

I'm going to start a new series tonight on my own VPS - I want to
see how (v0.98) performs when kept open.

Hi writegvf.

I'm glad you're enjoying the 'ride'.

I'm kinda stuck releasing the next version because the programmer
I had seems stuck in trying to fix the code as is. Instead, he offered
to write a 'workaround' and bill me alot more $$ for this.

Right now I'm checking out an already modified system by a member
in our group here, that purportedly doesn't have data corruption from
opening/closing, like the version 0.97 EA.

-please stand by, test (without closing) for now.

Remember, the idea for this EA came about by using TOM's EA and
a trade copier that filters out lower 1X, 3X, etc. orders. So this approach
has proven successful and still will work without fear of data corruption:
https://www.myfxbook.com/members/ForexCuredotcom/old100k-3x-catcher/516675
But it does need babysitting because Tom's EA order sizes are dymanic and
your filter setting needs to change accordingly. Otherwise you'll 'let in'
an order that belongs to a lower level, or 'miss' and order that was
mistakenly blocked. I did not want that hassle, which is why I developed
Forex Cure EA to do internal filtering on a single account.

Hi Guys,

I'm the one working to the next version trying to achieve what the previous programmer couldn't.

For what I'm concern with, the version is working perfectly and support reboots properly (although it needs a thorough backtest for a month to be 100% sure).

So far, you can check the BT here : https://www.myfxbook.com/members/Tradydave/fxcure-20-first-bt/1036090

That's a X1 R10.

I just need to have a chat with Drew to fine tune some details that has to be taken care of.

Unfortunately, Drew and I are living on opposite sides of the world, therefore we couldn't get a hold on each other so far.
Hopefully, we might be able to do that early next week.
