Hello, everyone, I used to trade platinum in the forex market, however, I just want to ask if anyone has used it in their trading please let me know how's the experience?

I became interested in it as I have read in Platinum Asset (https://itrader-forex.dk/trading-platinum/) that this is thirty times rarer than gold with large deposits found on the moon and from meteorites.

What do you mean, deposits found on the Moon? No one's mining the Moon yet.

Of course, I use Silver trading metal in my trading! Although I see, trading spread on silver trading instrument is relatively higher than general trading instruments! But my trading strategy always inspires me to use this volatile trading metal because of it’s outstanding success ratio here! Even, last night I got here 78 pips profit!

Does anyone know what caused that big spike that reached 17.13 earlier today?

No, till now I use limited number of trading instruments, I mainly use major FX currencies since my trading strategy works on major instruments only! On the other hand, I am working on multiple trading strategies for using volatile trading instruments like Gold and silver! I seem, silver is not for the beginners!

the forecast of silver this year seems quite better than last year. (see https://www.funds-money.com/silver-2017/)
the contributors for this status is that the mining cost of silver decline since 2012 up to present which made the miners encouraged by boosting the supply of this precious metal.

Usually very large spreads on silver. I tried it once but the spread took all my profit

Maybe you could take a super long term short on silver (i.e 50 years!) expecting a collapse in the price of silver once the Moon silver starts arriving! But it is a bit of a long shot

I don't think you read the article, when I read it I assume that there are 'possibility' that there's more into it when it is mined in the moon.

I believe in you dear, it takes a learning stage to take advantage of the silver.

Trading silver takes time. It’s not for unexperienced traders as it is a specific to trade but volatile at the same time. To be honest I know very few people that trade with Silver and they do it very carefully. Good luck HenritteC!

Be careful with silver, there is actually a lot less liquidity than in forex.

What I found was that when trading silver my forex systems worked, however needed to extend the timeframe from hourly to H4 and Daily.

Also don't believe what you see on those forums such as Silver Doctors, it is all hype crap and they have been talking about silver to $250 an oz for years.

Whilst I hold silver bullion, I will not trade spot again as it is too easy to lose your hard-earned profits.

cheers, Cameron

I agree - it's impossible to open short-term positions on Silver and to expect good results. You have to be prepared for the long game.

In overall there is no instrument on FX, or commodity or stock etc. that is for unexperienced traders :)

I must've missed that part. Either way, we're still quite a few years away from any large-scale space mining operations.

I didn’t found any spike at 17.13 level! May be its due to your broker! Spike is really initiating and cause of huge lose!
