MyFXBook is set to 5 minutes right now as default, is it possible to change the time it publishes to every 30 minutes instead? Thanks for the help!

Yes, just set it in the publisher settings to 30 minutes.

I have 30 minutes set in the publisher settings with the box unchecked to not publish, should I check this box? It seems to still publish every 5 minutes even with the 30 minutes set box unchecked

You're probably using the EA.

Please use the attached one instead.

I would like to add that it's really damage if the ea you propose to us is causing crash of Mt4, we are on live accounts !

Works perfectly for me and I haven't seen a single 'crashing' complaint about the myFxbook EA.
It ain't easy being Cheesy!
