The stop-loss was shifted to lock in profits, but the broker did not honour it. Disconnections, off-quotes, re-quotes, etc. Cannot manually close the position either. All sorts of dirty tricks and tactics used.

You've been warned.

SL @ 1.36600, Price @ 1.36372, 22.8 pip 'slippage'. That's insane.

thank you Paul for your insight - such online platforms are very important to share expeirences.for what it is worth
- and this comes simply to underline our investor's required confidence in our broker's choice to make use of our services -

we have not had a single issue and we trade larger volume and a high number of trades too as you can easily see on our accounts posted publicly here and on fxstat.

We do know however that vPE has sever platforms under its vPE umbrella - i.e. when you choose VPEAG as your broker on myfxbook you will find several Server choices.

We have only traded on the vPE dma server and feed and are happy

we do realize brokers are a big pain for fx trader so we value the kind of personal customer care we get from them, too

We have been through so many brokerages - regulated and non regulated, big and small and have gone through all troubles ever possible from stops, disconnects - total broker bankruptcy - etc etc...

all in all we found our place to trade profitably as can be proven in our published accounts and we do not see
any reason to check with other brokerages anymore other than for our US clients which cannot open directly with vPE.

not what we have experienced at all - we have eur/usd spreads well below 1 pip (dynamic) and no commission

but then again the volume you move a month is important to get that type of feed from them, too.

Their commission and account management fees are pretty expensive for individual user.
