Hi, Disclosure; I am not an accountant and cannot give tax advice but for information purposes only, I simply report any activity on my return. I list it as currency trades. You can get a P&L statement from your broker that shows your total - or + for the year. 1099 or not I report gains or losses. There are other gains or losses you report on return that don't generate a 1099, same thing... All the best to you!
