Greece Business Confidence
In Greece, the Business Climate Indicator assesses the current state of the economy as well as the prospects for the future of the enterprises. The study is conducted over the phone and includes 410 businesses, including sole proprietorships. The questionnaire examines current manufacturing trends, order books, export order books, stocks, and production expectations. The indicator is calculated by estimating a factor model and summarizes the data from the surveys. An increase in the indicator will signal an increase in activity as well as an improvement in the business environment.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.

Eurozone Construction Output Rises For Third Month
Euro area construction output grew for a third straight month in February and at a stronger pace, mainly led by civil engineering works and rebound in building construction, preliminary data from the statistical office Eurostat showed Thursday. Construction output rose a calendar and seasonally adjusted 1.8 percent month-on-month following a downwardly revised 0.2 percent gain in January.

German Economic Confidence Strengthens On Recovery Hopes
Germany's economic confidence strengthened more-than-expected to hit the highest in more than two years in April as investors anticipate the economy to pick up over the coming months amid the global recovery, survey results from the think tank ZEW showed on Tuesday. The ZEW Indicator of Economic Sentiment surged to 42.9 in April from 31.7 in the previous month. The reading was seen at 35.1.

Eurozone Industrial Production Recovers In February
Eurozone industrial production recovered in February driven by the rebound in capital and durable consumer goods output, official data revealed on Monday. Industrial production grew 0.8 percent on a monthly basis in February, Eurostat reported. This was in contrast to the 3.0 percent contraction seen in January but matched economists' expectations.
