United States ISM Non-Manufacturing Prices
The ISM Non-Manufacturing Report On Business is based on information gathered from purchasing and supply executives around the country. If there has been a change in the current month compared to the prior month, the results of the survey reflect this. This report provides the percentage of respondents reporting each response (Business Activity, New Orders, Backlog of Orders, New Export Orders, Inventory Change, Inventory Sentiment, Imports, Prices, Employment, and Supplier Deliveries) and the diffusion index for each indicator measured. An index reading greater than 50 percent suggests that the non-manufacturing economy in that index is generally growing; a reading less than 50 percent implies that it is generally decreasing. Orders to service producers account for approximately 90% of the US economy.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the USD while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the USD.

U.S. New Home Sales Surge Much More Than Expected In March
A report released by the Commerce Department on Tuesday showed a substantial increase in new home sales in the U.S. in the month of March. The Commerce Department said new home sales spiked by 8.8 percent to an annual rate of 693,000 in March after plunging by 5.1 percent to a revised rate of 637,000 in February.

U.S. Existing Home Sales Pull Back Sharply In March
A report released by the National Association of Realtors on Thursday showed a sharp pullback by existing home sales in the U.S. in the month March. NAR said existing home sales plunged by 4.3 percent to an annual rate of 4.19 million in March after surging by 9.5 percent to a rate of 4.38 million in February. Economists had expected existing home sales to slump to a rate of 4.20 million.

U.S. Leading Economic Index Unexpectedly Pulls Back In March
The Conference Board released a report on Thursday showing an unexpected pullback by its index of leading U.S. economic indicators in the month of March. The report said the leading economic index fell by 0.3 percent in March after rising by 0.2 percent in February. The modest advance in February marked the first increase by the leading index in two years.
