I don't think so. I`m also a TA fan but using it for middle and long-term trading too. Also working good.

Oh if it works for you ok. I have prefered intraday trading. And techncal analysis is excelent for me. But for long-term trading I do not have enogh knowledges I think. I need to spend more time studying fundamental analysis. And I need to do a more in-depth technical analysis than I do now.

Fundamental Analysis helps to keep an eye on the release of economic data with the goal of trading the news. Since volatility can increase right after significant releases but I prefer to use sound risk management strategies.
