I always get confused with this stuff. I mean should I go with a broker that is very good when it comes to the trading conditions but charges high commision or should I just stick to no commission broker that provides okayish service?

Why not to find a broker who gives you good services but also charges less commissions? I think this would be a much easier solution. No?

This is why it is said that research is very important whether it is about trading or the broker you're going to choose for the trading process.

I agree. There are many brokers that fall into this category like Oanda, XM etc. giving you good enough trading set up on low commissions. Spreads and leverage with most of these seem favourable too.

@James also do not forget to check the analytical features of the brokers, and what trading platform they give out. It is very important for smooth trading.

Garry, I agree that you won’t lose anything when you demo trade. But if a strategy works well on your demo account and fails when you go live?

Flexibility is the key to winning because if we are flexible enough we can earn a lot of good money. I was scalping because the markets were not that good. So there are many brokers in the market. When the markets were moving again I came to position trading through IB because of its good analytical tools. So you cannot always trust one strategy. The brokers charge their fees because they provide us services.

This is true but it should not be on the basis of the emotions, but rather on the basis of the state of the market.

Emotions can be very harmful for you if you have no control over them. And you should not let your emotions come between your trading.

The idea you gave is good but it literally requires a lot of hardwork and most importantly time for finding such brokers.

The hard work you are talking about James, is for your own good. You only will get benefits from it. And since you are in trading, you need to manage time to trade. And if still you have enough money to pay to any broker, you can think of lending me some. Lol.

Haha. I think you are some kind of a motivational speaker @Philip. Jokes apart, I got your point buddy.

You seem to be struggling very much in terms of making time. Brokers like FXTM, and Avatrade have these features where you can put your entire trading responsibility on somebody else called the forex account managers. But mind it, you can’t rely on them wholly. You have to be more dedicated.
