A registered Myfxbook account is required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Does Backtest use real money?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No. Every order and position inside Backtest is simulated. No trade is sent to a broker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Is Backtest for manual strategies or Expert Advisors?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Myfxbook Backtest is designed for interactive manual market replay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Automated backtesting of an EA generated by Strategy AI is handled separately through Strategy AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How much historical data is available?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Myfxbook provides more than 20 years of historical market data, including data down to the one-minute timeframe. The exact first available date may vary by symbol. The available instruments are: crypto, forex, indices, commodities and metals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can I use more than one chart?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes. You can open several synchronized charts and use different symbols or timeframes in the same Backtest session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How many symbols can I use?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A backtest supports up to five simultaneous unique symbols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Several charts using the same symbol on different timeframes count as one unique symbol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why is the replay not moving?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Check the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The replay is not paused.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A replay speed has been selected.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Historical data has finished loading.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The selected date contains available market data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The backtest has not ended or reached a margin call.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can also use the next-step control to advance the replay manually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why are there no new candles during part of the replay?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Forex and many other markets do not generate regular candles during weekends and certain market holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There may also be occasional historical data gaps for a particular symbol or period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why was my order rejected?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Common reasons include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Invalid lot size<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insufficient free margin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unsupported order settings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The backtest has already ended<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The account has reached a margin call<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The selected symbol is not active or fully loaded<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Review the order details and account margin before trying again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why does my result differ from my broker\u2019s chart?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Myfxbook and your broker may use different historical price feeds, time zones, spreads and symbol specifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Myfxbook Backtest also uses one-minute historical data rather than the broker\u2019s complete tick history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can I use several timeframes for the same symbol?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes. Multiple timeframes can be displayed and replayed in sync.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, you can use H4 for the main trend, H1 for structure and M15 for entry timing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can I save my Backtest?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes.
