ECN with and without commissions.

They charge a dollar per side which is low/medium-low I guess. You know there are brokers that don’t charge anything for commissions so that’s like the lowest but spreads are another story with them. Or there are some other conditions, like with IB (my other broker) I have got to make trades worth at least $10k or else there’s no commission-free thing going there, and also it’s important to maintain a balance of $25k. Fxview on the other hand is easy on these bits.

My previous I was in a fairly similar frame of mind but my cousin who’s been a trader all his adult life had a few off-shore accounts and he even has a portfolio in Japanese stocks?! I mean Japan FFS. So yeah, I just figured if he can trade on NIKKEI, I can at least invest in major currency pairs on a regular off-shore broker! And Fxview is regulated by FCA and Cysec besides others so I was good man. I think I must have saved like $200 on spreads alone from the time I’ve been with them. And then of course on taxes too!

Its been a couple of months now. And yes they are good as per my requirements. Tight spreads, low commissions, deposits via cards etc are all good to me.... Plus, they are regulated so its like cherry on the cake. 😄

I don't think so that they are offshore also not sure if a broker can be offshore and still be regulated. Do you have a source where we can check it out? According to me they are based is Cyprus...

No’ it’s not that difficult if and only if you have done your research. You need to spend some time looking for a broker who can give you all of these features. I, apart from self research, even consulted some of my friends for the same. Then came to know about some of the good ones like Fxview. It has lowest commissions and tight spreads. I am also daytrading through Oanda.

I just did my research and concluded that they are not an offshore broker but regulated ECN broker based in Limassol, Cyprus. They operate under Charlgate Ltd. Just checked it out from their support. With spreads, do take care of your strategies. Do not compromise with them. Work on them.

There are forex account managers who can trade on your behalf. But still try and learn to trade by yourself.

I don't know how you plan to trade, that is without spending time chalking out your strategies. And especially when you have no knowledge about it.

Well I wouldn’t go for a managed account. Wouldn’t you be worried that someone else won’t pay much attention to you making money as much as you would?
