Professional4X posted: And before you say anything

@Professional4X There is nothing I can say, because you summed it up perfectly. I preach Patience and Discipline and it is exactly that, that caused my downfall.

However, with all due respect I will disagree with one thing you said.... I will do this again and the next account I start-up from a very small base will NOT be blown, because I have learned a very, very valuable lesson here.

Your post ad value to me as a part-time forex trader and motivate me to become a better trader, which I know I can be.

Thank you for your analyses and time spend on this.

Trade safe!

You are learning from your mistakes. This is excellent.

Some basic advice is to trade smaller lot sizes, and if a trade goes bad, kill the trade and don't let it run.

It's better to take a small loss from a single bad trade, and wait for your next entry point, rather than just piling more bad trades into the basket. It of course depends on the trading strategy, but in general small lot sizes, over a long period of time can add up to a fairly substantial profit.

Don't be afraid to take a small loss if it saves the account from ruin.

Keep trying. Keep studying. Work on your strategy.

Most people when they blow an account, just give up and claim it is impossible to make money trading.

You earned a vouch from me.

If it looks too good to be true, it's probably a scam! Let the buyer beware.
