In football goalies often say - 'you have to admit that sooner or later you will concede, so learn to live with it'. It seems to be the same in fx but don't get the loss blind you or mess your mind! Or you never be successful...
Trading is like football - if you don't practice you can't win the game!

I would add - don't laugh when someone is taking a step back as he is maybe getting ready for a sprint. 😄 Every lesson learnt from a loss will give you acceleration.

Thanks Ben, I find a lot of similarities between sport and trading.

I am losing most of the times these days but try to stay focused and improve my market analysis skills so that in the end all goes back to positive and profits.
Keep learning and one day you will become successful. As you said - remaining focused is important but also having a solid plan and clear strategy what you like to achieve. 😄

I am trading on my Forex demo account with $10,000 equity and have trades on GBP & AUD. I am losing almost $2500 with these trades. I am scared if I go live, I will lose big time. I am not a short term trader. I keep trades for long term and the current loses are scaring me. I really want expert’s opinion. Please help.

I lost more than 10% last month. One of my FB friend referred me to Myfxbook to follow someone experienced. I surf few profile (mostly who has higher profit in %) who has real account portfolio here. I found the system/traders has lower fund but higher growth in percentage! They can take high leverage and get lucky! So, I want to find someone who has fund more than 10K in real account and having good track record.
Can anyone help me to find the right person here? Oh! I have seen Major Big brokers logo here. I am trading with Hanseatic Broker, would that be a problem to copy the trades?

Losses are part of game and are related to every business. Everyone lose at some point or the other. The fact is how quickly one recovers from those losses and builds gains again. Just don’t get your loss get over your mind and destroy your mindset.

There is a saying to cut loosing trades soon and let profitable trades grow.
The thing is how can you distinguish loosing and profitable? Of course you see trade is in profit or not bu just a bit later it profitable trade can change to unprofitable and vice versa.

You can check the trend on the longer period charts, if your familiar with the pair you will have a rough idea how much it is likely to pull back, if it has been bullish all morning its more likely that it will turn bearish soon, buyers have to be sellers at some stage, change of news or data, have certain levels been tested over a short period of time.
