I'm curious to know which two brokers you tried and why you weren't happy? Was it because of costs, bad customer service, not having access to instruments or leverage you were looking for, or something else? Without knowing that, it's hard to recommend any one broker. I would suggest CedarFX if you like 0 commission account type setups, they also have good support, but again, hard to say without more info.
I think that choosing a broker is a very subjective matter. You must navigate and clearly indicate by what criteria you want to choose a broker. Or even visit the rating page of this forum and look there.
I trade with FP Markets, a reputable broker regulated by ASIC and CYSEC. When compared to other similar ECN brokers, their trading conditions are excellent. Spreads start as low as 0.0 pips, and the commission is also low at $3 per lot.
There is no such thing as the best broker. The most important thing is to check that whether the is broker complying with the trading strategy you are using. For eg, Scalper prefer trader with ECN trading model and offer fairly low commissions.
Along with checking the trading conditions also prefer to trade on the demo account offered by the broker before committing to check the responsiveness of the customer service so that you don’t lose just because of a technical issue.
I transact through FP Markets, a respectable broker subject to CYSEC and ASIC regulation. Their trading conditions are good when compared to those of other ECN brokers that are similar. Spreads start as low as 0.0 pips, and the commission is also low at $3 per lot.
