Everything depends on your personal preferences. Some traers claim that leverages are very useful and they help you to generate big sums of money, others state that leverages are very dangerous and it's the easiest way to lose all your funds. I suppose that everything has its own advtantages and disadvantages. Leverages aren't an exception actually. To my mind, leverages are quite helpful for those traders who have solid experience in trading activity and want to try something new, because they can weigh all the risks before open a deal and decide whether this deal worths it or not. So, that's why leverages aren't for rookies.
Leverage is useful, if trading without leverage, hence only rich traders will be able to open trades because trading will, based contract size, and standard contract size 1 lot is $100.000 USD, it's not for retail traders
