The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic is in charge of making interest rate decisions in the country of Kyrgyzstan. The discount rate is the official interest rate.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the KGS while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the KGS.
