(Agencia CMA Latam) - Argentinean President Mauricio Macri hosted his Chilean counterpart, Sebastian Pinera, who arrived in the country Wednesday on an official visit.
Pinera is in his first official trip to a foreign country after his election. Both leaders should discuss projects of integration between their countries, as well as their bilateral trade ties.
Among other issues, Macri and Pinera will talk about investments in the natural gas grid and a social infrastructure plan.
Currently, Argentina and Chile have underway the project for the construction of the Agua Negra tunnel, on the border. Also, there are expectations to move forward with an agreement between the Pacific Alliance and Mercosur.
