The market changes constantly. Even sometimes I believe that the saying “Change is the only constant” was made in regards to the foreign exchange market.
The forex market is highly volatile, as being a global market, a lot of factors around the world seem to be affecting the currency pairs.
There’s no specific time to change the strategy. If your present strategy is not working out for a period of 3 months, it is high time that you change it. Usually, if a market fluctuation is temporary, it gets back to normal conditions within 2 weeks to 1 month.

Maintain time frames while market analysis and trading.Its way more important for beginners because beginners can’t trade for a long term and so they should trade based on short time frame.
The market changes a lot., whether any big or small event is happening around the world. That's why is advised to have a close eye on the market events while trading.

While not a cut and dry thing the markets often experience quarterly shifts. It is worth checking these and checking seasonal tendencies to spot when these may be impactful.
If you can't spot the liquidity then you are the liquidity.
