In my opinion, this should be the main statement of traders, because all of the novices prefer to rely on luck, while it's strictly prohibited in trading. If you will depend upon luck, you will stop to think and analyze all the actions on the market. So, I would advice beginners never rely on luck, because it's unpredictable. You can predict whether a trend will change its direction or not, but you can't predict will you b lucky or not. The main distinguishing trait of trading from gambling, is that in gambling everything depends on luck, there are no systems at all, while trading is full of system.

Luck has a temporary place in any kind of market because it is a mere coincidence. Forex trading is a risky endeavor, and if you want to be a profitable trader, there is no route other than studying the market carefully.

Absolutely, luck is not a part of successful trading. A trader who makes use of luck may be successful for short periods of time, but he will never achieve long-term success by depending upon luck.

@brianna Exactly. Luck can work in one trade 2 trades or sometimes few more. But if a person doesn't have the skills and mindset for success, he will eventually lose all the money.

Forex trading is not a luck game because it's not gambling. You need to be educated enough to understand its strategies and market patterns. It’s all about how you learn about forex trading and then implement that learning while trading.

@jonathandaniel Yes there is no option for luck. Luck can't favour us in every trade if we not have skills. It's the skills that bring luck. Not the other way around.
