It looks like they changed how MyFXBook works with MT4. Just tried to attach a new demo and its all different. That might have something to do with it.
I use Hostwinds and have been rather pleased. A couple times Windows has updated and I had to go in and pull the MT4s back up but not sure how anyone gets around that at all. Im looking to also set up a system from home that runs a bunch of demos, but the benefit of using a VPS closer to my brokers server is speed. @jjdenver
I think all of your questions can be answered on this very thread. Just go back through em. The one thing I'd say is that if max spread is too low, it will never trade. Gotta find that happy medium given your brokers spread, etc... Also, the trade will stay open until Trailing Stop is activated, take profit is hit or stop loss. I personally don't think I've ever had a TP hit by spread increase but I could be wrong too. One 'pro tip' is to set the EA to trade during times where the spread is low. for me, I've tried all sorts of different times (just before Tokyo, 1-3 hours before daily close) and the best times, for me, are the last couple hours of the day if not THE LAST hour(Ex: my brokers daily close is GMT +3 = 23:00-23:59. You dont want 24:00, though). Good luck. Share results when you have em. We try and help all we can here.
