I'm glad to see you finish viper's strategy.

but there some differents.

viper the original he use a very small lot of this account every time. and if the price go the wrong way,he will keep the orders for a long time till hit sl or the price go the right way and every day few orders.

but here your myfxbook results show me that,many orders,and much more biger lots,and the most important question is:
if meet the oders in big dd,how to close it?

Last 48 hour was test if Viper himself trade all day. He trade with fundamental but counter-trend of impulsive spikes and follow real trend ( selling EURUSD for many months ). I tried same with good results. EA turned off now because Friday and I made good profit with first test.

First real test was same lotsize of 0.05 and another try with 0.06 , any other lotsize was manual or a quick test of entry ( 0.10 lot).

We get to choose Risk.

I am testing ' Reduce lotsize ' anti - martingale like Viper . For example, enter 1.0, and next entry will be 0.5, but Viper keep 0.5 for all concurrent scalps in basket. My feature will continue to reduce lotsize as more trades enter. 1.0 / 0.5/ 0.25 / 0.12 / 0.06

We can select how many trades we want to enter. Viper normally 4 - 5 positions... If I am not correct, please share what you know.

My original design and idea was to use fixed tight stoploss, but then it wouldn't trade like viper himself because he floats the losses up to months while continue trading. We can do this too. Then the big drawdown would be offset by New trades and once we are at New equity gain from new trading scalps, any trades in DD would be closed at same time, just like viper does.

If there is something else I need to consider please share all information as possible. I only look into his system recently and not a user of this signal service.

original is manual trader that use Scalping Grid strategy for more than 2 years with 75% Gain and 13% DD.

I also need to contact broker and ask how I can improve system to reduce slippage if possible. I started to use Trailing instead of market Close and each trade with SL gets slipped 0.1 - 1.5 pips and this adds up quickly with 200 trades in 24 hours. I pay commission for ECN, I shouldn't get slippages on 0.05 lot right?

My test run was very aggressive with entries and exits. I want to experience problems and real world events to improve system and make very robust. Any ideas are gratefully appreciated.

i'm not the user of viper,but i notice viper's myfxbook for months.
it always open order with the same lot and always only one or two orders.
and if here is a orders keeping opening and in DD(for example,before he has a eurusd sell order for 30days+),at this time the new order will reduce lot.

Yes you are correct with holding trades for long time. I sorted Trade Duration and found 50 days on USDCAD.





I looked at his money management from very beginning and Lotsize started with 5.0 Lot on 100k so
10k 0.5 lot
1k 0.05 lot
$500 on 0.02-3 lot

Now he trades with start 1.6 Lot on 180k , then position 2nd,+ are about 0.60 lot
0.8 Lot on 90k
0.4 lot on 45k
0.2 lot on 22.5k
0.1 lot on 11.25k
0.01 lot on $1125 .... the second position can't be smaller than 0.01

Conclusion: Barrier of Entry:
0.02 lot on $2250 then second , third, etc can be a 0.01 lot to match his risk setting.

Here he has basket of 6 Open trades in grid formation , continues to scalp while holding losing positions / Maybe he lowered his risk to allow more gridding

I just found many very small lotsize positions with over 700 Pip drawdown. Hold trades indefinitely and scale out the position as you can make up for the losses from offset scalps: I can code this behavior for a large balance but impossible to scale out of 0.02 lots.

😁no matter what viper did,i hope you can complete a new viper that no need change setting and never blow up the account.
the viper original is not ea,so it's hard to analysis of the strategy,sometimes it's not the same person control the account.so will have some strange orders.

I built this today to see how much slippage I have experienced in the last 400+ trades. A total of 46 pips. These results are only for the trades that begun using the Trailing Stops to exit the trades.

I haven't implemented any code into the EA to measure real slippage yet. Work in progress

i saw your blog that viper can use on lmax(spread+commission and my vps under 2ms to broker),but can it use on fxcm(only spread my actives account about 1.3 to 1.5 spread,and vps under 1-2ms to broker)?

lmax i use uk vps,fxcm i use new york vps.
fxcm mt4 located in new york.my fxcm only spread,and spread lower than normal account.(bigger account can reduce the spread)
no need to download the script.my fxcm mt4 is the same as lmax mt4 tp and sl level.both can set 0 tp and sl ditantance from the present price.

now the last thing is wait you finish viper

Now I am on version9 and I still have a long way to go.

I am working on a custom indicator... I still need to change/add two more features and fix one little entry that keeps getting triggered at an inefficient price level.

I had to retard the timing to test my money management module because this system is only forward test. I had many late signals and untrue signals because of this but it did allow full testing of the module and it is working good at reducing exposure on the following signals.

Watching Viper trader is just amazing. I can only dedicate my fullest attention and dedication to master his system.

I will work on special module for Non Farm Payroll news that is coming shortly.

Slippage Report for trades with Trailing Stoploss

Buy Orders 251 with 111 pips of negative slippage
Sell Orders 195 with 91 pips of negative slippage.

Broker says Stoplosses that are submitted to broker server is just a trigger to send order close to ECN.
ECN price moves between this latency time. Why do I never experience positive slippage, broker doesn't respond. They recommend to use cTrader. Any broker with positive slippage?

I have also included the Entry Price into the EA Comment field to compare with the opening price of market order, this is more proof of slippage on almost every order. E 1.0845 , SPR = spread at entry. M = Magic number
