Have you realised that the market has been stuck in a range a week ahead of NFP release? Again.. What do you do? Any currency pairs that usually don't get stuck before NFs?

That's what always happens before before the NFP, I just keep shorter term positions than usual in the week before that.

Lets see how the numbers come out. The Dollar could rally on better than expected readings, but the currency is overextended to the upside and prone to some profit taking on good news.

Usually it is only a day or 2 before nfp that markets range. If that is the case, just use a range trading strategy

In my experience sometimes the market remains range-bound for the whole week before the NFP. It doesn't happen every time, but it happens often enough to be careful about it.
