I think you shouldn't set a limit on how long you use a demo account. It should be based on your confidence and the consistency in your trading. It took me at least 6 months and even now if I have a run of bad trades I will head back to a demo to regain my confidence.
When I started working with a broker from Amarkets, I studied on a demo account for about two months. In principle, this period is quite enough to get the desired result.
I think everyone needs a different amount of time based on their strategy, how much they studied, and how emotional they are.
I would say after 6-8 weeks I'd start to dabble with a live account to start to get your emotions attuned to the fact it's now real money.
And just use 0.01 lots.

At first trading need to know about how to design a system what is need for execute in market so need demo. Then how much time to take its up to you. If you sufficient courage to do trade then try to small amount of real for sometimes for test yourself is it realy taking risk or not.
Day by day having better, better and better...
you yourself will feel how much you need to work with the demo and when it will already be possible to switch to real, because if someone tells you a week, and then to real, then nothing will work out, right?

I recently began trading on a demo account because I am new to trading. To the best of my knowledge, I believe a trader should first practice on a demo account before moving on to a live account. In essence, there is no specific fixed time, in my opinion.
Tr_Sheenu014 posted:Well, that is a valid opinion. Every trader has their own learning pace so they should take the required amount of time they need to practise on a demo account. Indeed, there is no end to learning in the forex market.

I would not set a clear time frame for working on a demo account, because I think that this is not entirely correct. At least, I think it is right to work with a demo account until the moment of complete self-confidence.

It depends from person to person and their skill. How much time it took them to grasp all the knowledge and technicalities.

I don't think 3 weeks is nearly long enough, but everyone is different since some learn more quickly. I was on demo for about 6 months.

It is generally recommended for traders to spend a sufficient amount of time practising on a demo account before transitioning to live trading.
This can help traders get a feel for the market and build confidence in their abilities. But what may work for you may not work for me.
Some traders may choose to use a demo account for a few weeks or months, while others may use it for longer periods of time.
Ultimately, the length of time a trader spends on a demo account will depend on their individual goals, needs, learning approach, etc.

Instead, it continues as we trade, building on our knowledge and experience just as we did as children. As long as the traders can recognise market emotion and choose when to follow the market and when not to, they will undoubtedly benefit.

Being a beginner at trading I believe it's always a good choice to stay on the demo as long as you are not confident enough to start live trading.

for the beginners level i think 3 months is really good to continue demo trading .
Beginners should just stick to demo accounts for a minimum of three months just to learn about the market movements and get used to the brokers' platforms. Using brokers such as Vantage and FP Markets is, in my opinion, a good choice since they provide educational materials for new traders in forex.
Women don’t prefer a job outside as majority of them serve as a homemaker too. So, they are very much fond of forex trading because they can earn money through forex trading sitting at home.
