This one is definitely starting out well...!
When you fall you learn, then you get up and you try again until you master it. |

Howdy maestro007,
This setup uses * 2 x MT4's, 5 x charts of each (EU GU UCHF EJ UJ) * 1 x conservative: false instance (aggressive entry) * 1 x conservative: true instance (the defualt) * Fixed lots: 0.10 (versus MM true) Otherwise default settings. Its approximately 4 X the risk of the official demo FWD (which commenced using 0.1 lots/$1000 for each pair). I made it fixed lots to be sure that the EA didnt try to place under a 0.10 lot size and have decided to keep it at that to maintain a consistent setup. Otherwise I'd suggest that folks run with MoneyManagemenet: true, so tha risk per trade/account equity remains consistent. Cheers, Adam :) its damn near possible, but its whats possible that keeps us in the game |

Hi Adam,
Are you aware that there is currently an open order on this account? I've encountered this bug before, but I thought this issue had been fixed. |

Never mind my last post. I looked at the open order again, and I see you're verifying your account.

Hi Britt,
Phew....I just about had a heart palpataion when I read your first comment ! You be correct though, just verifiying the account (ECN4), we've been dragging our B'side on that, apologies to all those waiting and wondering is if its actually a real account. Funny though, no one questions it when you loose...........hehe. Yes, 100% confirmed we've eliminated the issue of having an open order that didnt trail - mind you price hit the 50 pip hard take profit level more often than it ever hit the hard stop loss, such is the nature of the system to nail tops/bottoms. I'll be delving into some intentional functionality to take advatanage of that phenomenom in the near future....I'll let you know if it' a proveably profitable conncept in backtesting at least. Cheers, Adam :) ps, we've 3 other account pending verification, ECN1-3, that are our experimental settings accounts, which arent currently verified - but we'll get to that soon too - after I actually get them into trade again. its damn near possible, but its whats possible that keeps us in the game |

Anyone using this on other broker besides FxPig?
Can the settings be experimented on any excellent ECN broker (low latency, lowest spread ever on mt4)? |

Hi Adam,
Just to check, is this running on the FxPig ECN or DMA. Also do you prefer either of these above the other? Cheers, Maestro |

Howdy, Yes, you can trade it on any broker that you feel has the required feed. In fact we've done quite a bit of work to make it more adaptable at other brokers. However, it has been developed on the ECN @ http://nmi.fxpig.com/ its damn near possible, but its whats possible that keeps us in the game |

Cheers, Maestro Hi Maestro, At the outset only the DMA was available at FXPIG, and we've left the FWD demo on that feed. However, in real money testing the DMA just slipped too much, so, don't bother with it if using a tick sclaper. The ECN is another completely different feed comprising of a mix of prime feeds including Dukascopy (amongst others) and has much less slip by compare to the DMA/STP option (in fact we've been seeing some positive slip of late). Because of this we suggest this feed as the number 1 choice. If you want to know when you see positive slip - just compare the stop loss price versus the closing price (shows on on the myfxbook trade history too) If on a buy the close is higher than the stop loss = postive slip (and vice versa). The system ALWAYS uses a hard stop loss on each trade (3-5 pips stop loss) and closes via a hard or trailing stop losss. It is an absolute rule of the system designed so that you need never worry about a disconnection of any sort. Its traded only at STP/DMA or ECN brokers so there is no need to hide the stop loss to avoid predatory broker tactics Cheers, Adam :) its damn near possible, but its whats possible that keeps us in the game |
