If this would be the ideal case, then the scale for the banks is smaller. Maybe their services would become more expensive?

Maybe a better solution could be not to completely recover or save it but just to compensate to some extent the deposits. You are right that in the end of day the people are losing as they fund the government. But I think it is again up to the person to decide how much and where to put the money.

Timeframes simply need to match the personality of the trader. If they reflect your emotional status - all fine. If you feel comfortable with M1 charts - trade on them. When it comes to stop losses, I would mention that a trailing stop could work even better.

Yes, I think this is a good advice at least during this post elections period.

I traded the index shortly but luckily I was fast enough to leave the market only with a small loss... But it was close 😄

Another point to consider when buying such EAs is that positive past performance cannot guarantee future good results.

Why these 2 particularly? I know a lot of cases when brokers regulated by these entities also got fined for manipulations. If you are based in USA or UK, these are the most authoritative bodies for sure. But in Europe and other regions it's different.

@BluePanther What you say kind of makes sense but I think what you wrote below is too much of a conspiracy theory:I would disagree about the matrix but I appreciate your different point of view.

@Dove_Services Thank you for your selection of books! It sounds quite interesting and promising. I would disagree on the TA part you mentioned as this is also a valuable aspect and ignoring it will simply cut part of your view to the markets. But it's up to everyone to decide whether to use technical analysis or not.

I traded just a couple of indices and after a quick loss I decided to stop and stay away for a while until everything gets back to normal.

I fully agree with this. New traders sometimes are excited by going against the trend but this is too risky. Combination of indicators like Momentum, Stochastic and Moving Averages could help in identifying strong trend signals for entering or leaving the market.

A lot of people are explaining that new traders should " kill their emotions", but we always have to consider the fact that, we are not robots! We can't just simply switch off our emotions. But we can train our selves to resist the temptation of using them in trading and the best way to do that from my experience is with demo trading accounts. Manage to double at least 2 or 3 demo accounts, and you are ready to begin learning trading with real money.
Do you prefer fixed spreads or dynamic spreads?

It all depends on strategy, but I usually stay away from fixed spreads, because sometimes, brokers are having mark up on the fixed spreads. But some EA's are better working with fixed spreads, so like I explain before it all depends on the type of strategy that you are using.

Invest as much as you are willing to lose. But my personal advise for you is to start by teaching yourself with a demo account. Try different leverage levels there and see which type of combination between balance and leverage is working the best for you, then and only after you have done this, you can move to real live trading.
