DO NOT USE THIS BROKER... I DID IT.

If something is wrong (and happened many times to me) you can't know who to ask.
During RED news it's impossible to trade for many minutes (due to disconnections).
Customer service it's a joke (I don't report what they write to me).

They also opened orders without my authorization in compensation of an order opened (by who???) on Jforex Dukascopy.
It's a mess, and my advice is STAY AWAY from it.

Your choice.

I have to back this. Since FTT and Dukascopy are different entities when something needs explanation it turns into a ping pong match between the two.

In terms of execution and slippage it’s at per with JForex and I deduced it trades using Dukascopy’s FIX API. However, reporting becomes an issue, you start noticing profits missing on Dukascopy’s side and FTT claims it will synchronize daily which never happens.

My advice is to avoid this solution completely. After all Dukascopy is no longer the top ECN and most brokers beat their commissions. If you want Dukascopy, use JForex or their FIX.

I have been using the Dukascopy with the FTT bridge on a live account for a few months now. I have to say that it has not lived up to expectations and I have all the correspondence to back up the issues.

In a 'fast market' the bridge fails. This did not just happen once but on three separate occasions. The platform 'MT4 via FTT' falls over and then to add insult to injury one cannot get help in a hurry to get position flat.

Then when I talk to Dukascopy they say I signed a document relieving them of responsibility, which I did but then FTT blames Dukacopy, so the problem is not solvable.

Next on the FTT website they tell you you can switch between the Dukascopy software or theirs, for example open on one, close on the other. This too, is problematic and again I have all the emails substantiating this.

In the end, whilst Dukascopy may be a good outfit, I can neither confirm nor deny this, the bridge to MT4 via FTT is not an area where anyone can be comfortable.

Fair Trading Technology, when are you planning to launch the bridge for live accounts with Dukascopy Europe? There were news to expect it in April this year, which is long gone....

Thanks in advance.

Dear traders,

The external provider for Dukascopy's MT4 traders, Fair Trading Technology, has eliminated tiered commission structure and replacing it instead with a flat $1 per lot technology fee. This is a good news for traders who want true ECN brokerage while taking advantage of all powerful features by MetaTrader 4. The MetaTrader 4 bridge allows trading between MetaTrader 4 platform, Jforex platform and our mobile trading platform, FTT FX Trader. All trades will be auto-synced simultaneously no matter what platform you are trading on. Regardless your monthly turnover, Fair Trading Technology will only charge $1 technology fee per lot traded.

If you have any further question, please reply in this thread, we would be happy to help out. Thank you.😄

I understand that SaltyWaters but have you used their MT4 platform bridge service before to be able to vouch for it's execution and dependability? Like i said I just need to know if it performs in Live the way it does in Demo.

You'll agree with me that even the worst broker's demo MT4 platform will never suffer from slippage but once you switch to live the whole story changes!

Hi shuagwoo,

The question is do you have a live account with them? I understand that demo can work perfectly with any broker or interface broker like I would want to call FTT but does it really solve the problem of slippage common with MT4 platforms of most brokers?

I don't know. But I really like this broker. Or it is not really a broker. The company is a technology provider for MT4 bridge to Dukascopy's Jforex platform. Really nice platform and fast executions! Me like!
